Carrie Kerr, MS, CCC-SLP/L

Carrie Kerr, MS, CCC-SLP. Speech Language Pathologist. Augmentative Alternative Communication.

Carrie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathogist and the owner of Child's Nature, LLC. She is an Early Intervention Evaluator and Therapist serving children ages 0-18. She has a passion for finding a child's natural love for learning. Carrie specializes in Augmentative-Alternative Communication for children who are low- or nonverbal. She is a LAMP Certified Professional and PROMPT trained. She is also a trained advocate for families navigating the IEP process. Carrie practices at the East Peoria Clinic. 

Stephanie Barb, MS, CCC-SLP/L

Stephanie Barb, MS, CCC-SLP. Speech Language Pathologist. Augmentative Alternative Communication.

Stephanie’s is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Her specific area of interest is in utilizing Augmentative and  Alternative Communication to increase an individual’s ability to  functionally and effectively communicate.  She is an Early Intervention Evaluator and Therapist serving clients ages 0-adult. Stephanie is proficient at finding  access methods for individuals with multiple impairments including  switches and eye gaze. Stephanie practices at our East Peoria Clinic.

Michelle Yuen, DPT, PT

Michelle Yuen, DPT, PT. Pediatric physical therapist. Animal Assisted Therapy.

Michelle Yuen is a licensed physical therapist that graduated with her doctorate from Bradley University. She is an Early Intervention Evaluator and Therapist serving children ages 0-21. She has experience in orthotics evaluation, aquatic therapy and animal assisted therapy. Michelle has worked as a pediatric physical therapist since 2012  helping children with a wide variety of abilities. She practices at our East Peoria Clinic and surrounding areas.

Perri Grimm, MS, CCC-SLP/L

Perri is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and an Early Intervention Provider and  Evaluator. She is passionate about coming alongside families as they work together to help a child communicate to their fullest potential. Perri is an active member of the Peoria Area Speech-Language-Hearing Association (PASHA) and currently serves on its executive board.  Perri sees children in Woodford, Tazewell, and Peoria counties, as well as our East Peoria clinic.

Katie Mueller, MS, CCC-SLP/L

Katie Mueller, MS, CCC-SLP/L. Speech language pathologist. Early Intervention Bloomington-Normal.

Katie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a credentialed Early Intervention Therapist. She has  experience working with children with a variety of differences including  Autism, Down Syndrome, developmental disorders, language disorders, and  phonological delays. Her goal is to give every child a voice, and to  empower families to support their child’s language development. Katie sees children in the Bloomington-Normal Area. 

Nicole Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP/L

Nicole is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and an Early Intervention Provider and  Evaluator. She is passionate about parent and caregiver coaching and believes a child's first and best teacher is their family. Nicole is an active member of the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) and currently serves as co-chairperson for the Student Involvement and Early Intervention Committees.  Nicole sees children in Champaign and Vermillion counties.

Katie Russow, MS, CCC-SLP/L

Katie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Her specific area of interest is in utilizing Augmentative and  Alternative Communication to increase an individual’s ability to  functionally and effectively communicate; working with pediatrics in  Early Intervention and children with Autism. Katie is an Early Intervention Therapist. She sees children in Livingston and McLean counties, as well as our East Peoria Clinic. 

Madi Lane, BS, DT

Madi is a developmental therapist with Early Intervention in the Bloomington, IL area. In May, she received her Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Sciences, with a focus on child development, from Illinois State University. She is excited to begin work in the early intervention field to assist infants, toddlers, and their families in achieving the best quality of life possible. She believes in nurturing the parent-child relationship, providing parent support and education, and working within a child’s natural environment to help them thrive. 

Allison Kron, B.Ed.

Allison Dron, B.ED., Reading Tutor East Peoria, Illinois

Allison is a licensed elementary teacher. She currently teaches 4th grade at D50 in Washington. She helped us launch our reading intervention program. She uses her  experience as an elementary school teacher to implement student-tailored  reading programs for struggling readers. Allison is a natural teacher,  enthusiastic about and committed to the success of each individual  student! She provides reading intervention at our East Peoria Clinic.



Lindsey Larson, M.Ed.

Lindsey is the Reading Methods Specialist at Child's Nature. She began a career as a special education teacher. After becoming passionate  about reading acquisition in young children, she pursued a Masters  degree in Reading.  She is thrilled to  be a part of the Child’s Nature crew so that she can continue her  passion of helping children in need of reading support. She provides reading evaluations and plans at our East Peoria Clinic. 

Jennifer Wolf, Office Manager

Jennifer  is the behind-the-scenes office manager and billing specialist. She  works through all of the details with insurance to ensure your child  receives the services they need. Jenn is the mom of three children, two of whom have received Early Intervention Services . She has a huge  interest in parent-child advocacy and working towards the common goal of  helping children have access to the services they need.

Payton, Certified AAT

Animal Assisted Therapy East Peoria Illinois

Payton is a 10 year old black lab who is a facility dog. He completed  over 12 months of training before starting as a facility dog and is now  trained in Animal Assisted Therapy. Animal-assisted therapy (AAT) is a  goal directed intervention in which an animal meeting specific criteria  is an integral part of the treatment process. He works upon request at our East Peoria Clinic.
