Carrie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathogist and the owner/clinical director of Child's Nature, LLC. She is an Early Intervention Evaluator and Therapist serving children ages 0-18. She has a passion for finding a child's natural love for learning. Carrie specializes in Augmentative-Alternative Communication for children who are low- or nonverbal. She is a LAMP Certified Professional and PROMPT trained. She holds a Certificate in Special Education Advocacy from William and Mary Law School which she uses to help advocate for families navigating the IEP process. Carrie serves as an area representative for the Illinois Speech Language Hearing Association (ISHA) and as a STAR Representative for the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is the recipient of the Outstanding Professional Award from Central Illinois Autism Association as well as the 25 Women in Leadership Award. Carrie practices at the Washington, IL Clinic and surrounding areas.
Perri is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and an Early Intervention Provider and Evaluator. She is passionate about coming alongside families as they work together to help a child communicate to their fullest potential. Perri is an active member of the Peoria Area Speech-Language-Hearing Association (PASHA) and currently serves on its executive board. Perri sees children in Woodford, Tazewell, and Peoria counties, as well as our Washington, IL clinic.
Stephanie Preston is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist. Stephanie started here career in Edwardsville, IL where she worked in both the schools and private practice. She is experienced and passionate about AAC and helping kids develop functional communication. Stephanie is working full time in our Washington, IL clinic and surrounding areas for both early intervention and clinic based therapy.
Karissa is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Early Intervention Provider. She graduated with her master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University in 2015. She has experience working with children and adults with a variety of needs and differences. Karissa has a passion for working with children and their families to help families build and support their child’s communication development. She truly believes that effective communication is accessible and achievable for everyone. Karissa serves as the chair of the Early Intervention Committee for the Illinois Speech Language Hearing Association (ISHA). Karissa serves children and families in Champaign County.
Stephanie is an ASHA Certified, Illinois Licensed Speech Language Pathologist. She graduated with her master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from University of Kansas. She has a specific interest in the areas of Augmentative-Alternative Communication as well as understanding and supporting neurodiversity. Stephanie is an Early Intervention Therapist with the State of Illinois. Stephanie serves on the Diversity Committee for Illinois Speech Language Hearing Association (ISHA). She sees children at our Washington, Illinois clinic and surrounding areas.
Marie has been a credentialed Early Intervention Developmental Therapist since June of 2019 and a licensed Early Childhood Educator in the state of Illinois for birth- 3rd grade since June of 2014. She has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, developmental delays, including cognitive and language delays, and Cerebral Palsy. She passionately believes in Child's Nature child-led philosophy and in the power of play. She sees children in their home, via Telehealth and at the Washington clinic for tutoring and Early Childhood groups.
Katie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Her specific area of interest is in utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication to increase an individual’s ability to functionally and effectively communicate; working with pediatrics in Early Intervention and children with Autism. Katie is an Early Intervention Therapist. She sees children in Livingston and McLean counties, as well as our Washington, IL Clinic.
Chelsea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has experience working with clients and families with a wide variety of presenting diagnoses and has worked in crisis services for several years. She is passionate about working alongside clients and families to help them recognize their own strengths and resources in order to meet their goals. Chelsea is looking forward to working with families in order to create lasting and effective behavioral change and overall quality of life for both clients and their families. She sees families in our Washington, Il clinic and surrounding areas.
Malinda Radloff is the founder of Connected Pediatric Intervention in Morton, IL. Malinda has dedicated her life’s work to ensuring children with autism and other developmental delays experience joyful relationships and reach their full potential and think socially. Malinda received her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and her M.Ed. from the University of Illinois. She continues to train and grow her professional knowledge in relationship-based focused interventions and executive functioning. Malinda has been a credentialed Developmental Therapist for over 25 years in the Illinois Early intervention System. In addition, she is the Medical and Developmental Consultant for the regional Early Intervention providers within the state of Illinois.
A Certified PLAY Project Consultant since 2004, she has extensive experience in the DIR/Floortime model of Intervention and Social Thinking Therapy Methodology. She has parlayed that expertise into a supervisory role. Currently Malinda focuses on providing evidenced-based interventions using the PLAY Project Model, supervises new PLAY consultants and provides educational and developmental consultation. In 2009, as part of Easter Seals, she had the opportunity to participate in Dr. Rick Solomon’s NIH research study. The PLAY Project and Social Thinking are the basis of her company’s philosophy and mission.
Jennifer is the behind-the-scenes office manager and billing specialist. She works through all of the details with insurance to ensure your child receives the services they need. Jenn is the mom of three children, two of whom have received Early Intervention Services and are on the Autism Spectrum. She has a huge interest in parent-child advocacy and working towards the common goal of helping children have access to the services they need.
