Carrie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathogist and the owner of Child's Nature, LLC. She is an Early Intervention Evaluator and Therapist serving children ages 0-18. She has a passion for finding a child's natural love for learning. Carrie specializes in Augmentative-Alternative Communication for children who are low- or nonverbal. She is a LAMP Certified Professional and PROMPT trained. She holds a Certificate in Special Education Advocacy from William and Mary Law School which she uses to help advocate for families navigating the IEP process. Carrie practices at the Washington, IL Clinic and surrounding areas.
Perri is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and an Early Intervention Provider and Evaluator. She is passionate about coming alongside families as they work together to help a child communicate to their fullest potential. Perri is an active member of the Peoria Area Speech-Language-Hearing Association (PASHA) and currently serves on its executive board. Perri sees children in Woodford, Tazewell, and Peoria counties, as well as our Washington, IL clinic.
Michelle Yuen is a licensed physical therapist that graduated with her doctorate from Bradley University. She is an Early Intervention Evaluator and Therapist serving children ages 0-21. She has experience in orthotics evaluation, aquatic therapy and animal assisted therapy. Michelle has worked as a pediatric physical therapist since 2012 helping children with a wide variety of abilities. She practices at our Washington, IL Clinic and surrounding areas.
Stephanie Preston is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist. Stephanie started here career in Edwardsville, IL where she worked in both the schools and private practice. She is experienced and passionate about AAC and helping kids develop functional communication. Stephanie is working full time in our Washington, IL clinic and surrounding areas for both early intervention and clinic based therapy.
Katie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a credentialed Early Intervention Therapist. She has experience working with children with a variety of differences including Autism, Down Syndrome, developmental disorders, language disorders, and phonological delays. Her goal is to give every child a voice, and to empower families to support their child’s language development. Katie sees children in the Bloomington-Normal Area.
Nicole is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and an Early Intervention Provider and Evaluator. She is passionate about parent and caregiver coaching and believes a child's first and best teacher is their family. Nicole is an active member of the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) and currently serves as co-chairperson for the Student Involvement and Early Intervention Committees. Nicole sees children in Champaign and Vermillion counties.
Katie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Her specific area of interest is in utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication to increase an individual’s ability to functionally and effectively communicate; working with pediatrics in Early Intervention and children with Autism. Katie is an Early Intervention Therapist. She sees children in Livingston and McLean counties, as well as our Washington, IL Clinic.
Lori is a Board Certified Occupational Therapist with over 20 years pediatric experience. She’s worked extensively with children in Early Intervention and the 3+ population. Lori enjoys helping children overcome challenges with development, fine and visual motor skills, handwriting, and sensory processing. She recently attained her Masters of Arts in Teaching degree to better serve and meet the needs of preschool and school aged children. Lori passionately believes in the potential of each child. She practices at our Washington, IL clinic and surrounding area.
Stephanie is a Board Certified Occupational Therapist with 19 years of experience in the field. She has specialized in pediatric intensive care, inpatient pediatrics and neonatology since 2004. She is passionate about helping each individual child reach his/her full developmental potential. Stephanie is motivated by the opportunity to work beside families, empowering parents to support their children in reaching their milestones. She sees children in the Champaign area.
Chelsea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has experience working with clients and families with a wide variety of presenting diagnoses and has worked in crisis services for several years. She is passionate about working alongside clients and families to help them recognize their own strengths and resources in order to meet their goals. Chelsea is looking forward to working with families in order to create lasting and effective behavioral change and overall quality of life for both clients and their families. She sees families in our Washington, Il clinic and surrounding areas.
Karissa is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Early Intervention Provider. She graduated with her master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University in 2015. She has experience working with children and adults with a variety of needs and differences. Karissa has a passion for working with children and their families to help families build and support their child’s communication development. She truly believes that effective communication is accessible and achievable for everyone. Karissa serves children and families in Champaign County.
Stephanie is an Illinois Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in her Clinical Fellowship Year. She graduated with her master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from University of Kansas. She has a specific interest in the areas of Augmentative-Alternative Communication as well as understanding and supporting neurodiversity. Stephanie is an Early Intervention Therapist with the State of Illinois. She sees children at our Washington, Illinois clinic and surrounding areas.
Jennifer is the behind-the-scenes office manager and billing specialist. She works through all of the details with insurance to ensure your child receives the services they need. Jenn is the mom of three children, two of whom have received Early Intervention Services . She has a huge interest in parent-child advocacy and working towards the common goal of helping children have access to the services they need.
